Looks like it would not be too hard to enlarge the hole if the mounting screw holes line up to with the stock petcock. Looks like there is plenty of room between the screw holes to make a bit of extra space. Just do it very carefully
Maybe use a hot knife or coarse round file?
Could you even go so far as to use the stock o-ring/seal thingame?
