    NC35 alternator rotor puller

Stripping the motor and need a alternator rotor puller. Anyone know where I can get one, or happen to know the size and thread req'd to fabricate one?

I've managed to find the size, M20 x 1.5, and available from Rick Oliver in the UK for 5 pound. Does anyone here have one I could borrow, as I can't be arsed waiting for it to arrive. Will pay freight obviously?

Has anyone fitted crash bungs to an NC30?

I'v been looking at These R&G crash bungs, but they seem a bit too expensive for my student budget. They are meant to be pretty effective however.

Any other brands i could look for?

They are expensive cause they have an alloy rod that goes through the center of the bike between two mounts, making them no drill and pretty sturdy.
All crash bungs are effective, however, in the wrong place you risk twisting a mount or what have you.

If you can take measurements and provide me with a good drawing I can make them cheaper than you can buy them. 99 pounds plus shipping sounds like a rip to me.

I made all the crash bungs on this here bucket. Uses 10mm 4140 as the engine mount studs, I left the threads on the ends of the studs 20mm longer so I can just screw crash bungs straight on the end. Simple as and looks pucka.
