Anyone have a spare NC30 swingarm they are looking to part with? I seem to have bought an NC30 frame with an NC35 swingarm attached

I highly doubt this will work on an NC30.

Considering you're talking about reading and comprehension and you can't even get a name right you haven't got much of a reason to be clapping like that 8) Surprised you can get your hands off your goats for long enough to try and line them up to do so.

And just for you I'll throw an XD in here for luck.

Oh, and I thought you had figured out how to turn ignore on......guess not? Or you just couldn't resist bringing in your little spoon to the party so you can try fill another thread with your love of goats and passion for other men?

It's an abbreviation of the nickname I've given you. Gay?, sure but I think it suits you.

    Long shot but...
You could try PM'ing Coyote, I think he is long gone but he had one in his shed ages ago that he was saving for a project that I think never materialised.

Hi guys, seeing as I'm no longer a VFR owner I have a few NC30 parts that are no longer required... ask away if you're after something.
Everything is used, apart from a windscreen and upper fairing bracket, both brand new from Tyga (see here http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/sh...or-VFR400-NC30)

I have a few engine parts, e.g. heads, a good crank, gear stack, clutch parts, water pump etc.
I've also got some other odds & sods like headlights, pegs, sprockets, rear hub etc.

Went to trackday at HD. After first session it emptied the overflow tank underneath the bike.
Put water in it for the rest of the sessions and it didn't happen again. Temps stayed below the red line but the fan did come on after one of the sessions as it came close to the red line.

After the last session I couldn't start the bike. Jumped it from a battery and it fired right up. On the ride home it died while doing 50kph through town. Engine went silent, red oil light came on. Stopped the bike and got someone to try and jump start it. No deal.

Trailerd it home and tested battery. 12.5v as it sits. When trying to start it drops below 10v and as expected the starter sound is weak. Jumping the battery gives a nice strong starter sound but it won't catch.

I can't think of any reason why the bike would suddenly stop (in Te Kowhai coming from Hampton Downs) and not want to start.

Any ideas on where to start looking?

Have you checked the RR and connector/wiring around there for the charging problem, as to the starting... check there is a spark, if so, empty float bowls, fill with new fuel (my beemer has a tendency to get a bit of water in through the fuel cap and so when getting low on fuel tends to suck water from the bottom of the tank, can't be started for love nor money until the float bowls are emptied till they run fuel again. If no spark is obviously electrical...
