It's not pretty. I'm thinking some kind of filler for the dents and a high heat carbon sticker wrap would make it look respectable.

Is it riveted shut? Ie could you get in to pop them out? And/or a suction dent puller outer thing?

Mine has a Zorst muffler on it, looks identical to that one in the photo. Sounds pretty damn nice to my ear. Can grab a few photos or a quick video of it and put it up on Youtube if you're curious as to what it looks/sounds like installed...

The muffler is welded up at both ends.

I've got a big box of NC30 fairing pieces in varying conditions and colours (some painted, some original, all in varying states of cracked/broken mounts etc.) and I'm going to have to move them to a new house with less space soon.

Is there any interest in stuff like that or is it just chuck-out material? Don't really want anything for it, just seems a shame to throw them out, given that my first bike was cobbled together from pieces in worse condition than most of these...

I am keen in anything that can be fixed up for some track fairings.

I'd be interested in some to mess about with if they're going cheap.

Doesn't look like the dents will pop out very easily. I think the only way to get it looking nice will be some filler and a covering of some kind.
Apparently 3M Di-Noc vinyl works quite well on mufflers; the heat doesn't destroy it.

Just re sleeve it in stainless or look here http://www.kilwellfibretube.co.nz/pr...uide/index.htm for a sleeve to slide over top.

It's not really worth enough to spend that kind of coin restoring it. I'm a poor student on a budget so will probably have some fun coming up with a cheap solution

Those are all the fairing pieces that I've got. The originals came as spares with the bike, the painted silver parts are the leftovers from a full replacement under insurance when the bike got skittled in a car park. It's a pretty mixed bag, really...

Send me a PM if you're interested in any of them.

I've also got a good working CDI unit if anyone needs one. Pulled it out when I put the Ignitech programmable one in. Can swap it back in and prove that it's working if needed.

Edit: Fairing pieces are gone. CDI is still available.

Anyone even slapped NC30 fairings on a 24? I imagine there would be some chopping involved... These would be perfect for racing this summer.

I'm picking them up on Saturday And I would say it is more trouble than it is worth trying to fix them to an NC24.

Yeah pretty much my thoughts. I've decided to run with the fairings I've got and in the future if/when I decide to put it back on the road I can just get some nice shiny ones of Ebay.
