Yep - I guess all the others are "under the Thumb"

Was a bit foggy over the top and that moss was a bit tricky. Had the bike step out a couple of times on the way home. Real nice sun over at Piha tho.

Good to catch up and put a face to the name.

Who is organising the next one?

Go to VFR Discussion - there's a good maintenance section in there, plus you can ask all the questions you want.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

Yes that came up on my favouriates... crashed in 2001. No mention of what the motor has been doing since then. Likely to have been sitting... rusting and seizing. Will happily give that a wide birth

Am I too big for a VFR....

I have posted this on vfrd as well... I am looking very seriously at a current model VFR800 as my next bike. There will never be a pillion but I will be getting the factory luggage as I have a 5 week south island coming up in the future...

A couple of people have made the comment that I may be a bit big for a VFR... I am 6.2 and around 100kg. I had another sit on one today after throwing my leg over a Sprint ST1050 and it did feel a little small. Still very comy but just small...

Anyone know of anyone my size that owns one?

A good place to get springs from is Sonic Springs - they're cheaper than Racetech or Hyperpro, efficient, helpful, and will send to NZ.
The price is US$79.95, plus shipping.
