So the only difference to a stock KLR650 are shocks, tyres, pegs, the brush guars and they moved the shift pedal up a bit.

All of which can be done on a stock one by a civillian.

Unless you're talking about the experamental one in which case. Why? runs on anything? MEh.

think about it .. no more $1.60 a litre gas .. just empty the deep fryer into the tank or grab a siphon hose and hit up the dickhead Pajero smoke machines in Ponsnobby

    lmao

Had a KLR650.... did some hardcore 4wd tracks 3 up (me, wife and dog). Still too heavy though.

That's obvious. The KLR650 has been churned out virtually unchanged for over 20 years... and it's kinda the runt of the litter in terms of dirt-bike performance.

What are you waiting for??? The diesel version is even more of a dog than the petrol one, info at HDT USA Diesel Motorcycles. Buy a Suzuki DR650 instead!!

Unless of course, you are just wanting a bizarre bike rather than to get into adventure riding.
    Cheers,
    Colin
