Where to get pre-purchase appraisal in Welly?

Looking at getting a new bike which is down in welly

Just wondering where would be the best place to get the guy to take it for a check. Not a full inspection as im not that rich. PF said you could get appraisals for about $35 so one of them would be good to make sure nothing major is wrong. He is in lower hutt so somewhere close to him would probably suit him.

Looking for somewhere which will be cheapish but still give it a good looking over. Since im froum Auckland i don't have a clue about who is good down there so some suggestions of who to ring and ask for quotes and free slots would be good.

    Thanks

Also think it's a good idea to ride it back from welly? Can get a $10 overnight bus down there so would be way cheaper than shipping it up. Might have to stop in somewhere on the way home for a night thou. Not sure if that type of bike would life doing that much riding in a day.

No really sure if VTNZ do a pre purchase inspection on bikes. You could always try TSS on Cuba St in Lower Hutt. Give the guys in the workshop a call, they may be able to help you out.

Yep, TSS will do a checkover for you. They are pretty busy though, so I would ring to check.

Shipping would probably be around the $350 to $400 mark I would think. What a chance to ride the length of the island though!
