Really sad to hear that three riders had to go due to mindless stupidity but did anyone really expect any different? I was half hoping for the drivers families sake that he'd had a heartattack or something (at least then they wouldn't have as hard a time dealing with it) but not at all suprised with the result.

lets hope the family decide to try and help stem the flow of drunk drivers and their attitudes that may prevail in the rest of the whanau!!!.

Mindless stupidity it was not - he had several convictions and knew the law and the risks - it was therefore nothing less than pre meditated murder.

That is how some countries see such offending - we are just backward and don't believe in personal responsibility

Those bikers were all someone's children and if they'd been mine, well, you get the picture..................
