    Colour Scheme

I have a pearl coloured bike... sometimes yellow, sometimes green.

I'm trying to come up with a paint scheme...

At the moment I'm using gaffa tape to simulate paint (dont hang it on me on sunday)

    Please give opinions and advice...
    Cheers
    Mike

Take the gaffer tape off. If looks naff and like you've bust something.

It will be paint (or at least vinyl) soon... just need to break up the colour a bit... or get everyone around me to wear sunnies!

OK, did you want to keep the polished frame? Paint frame black or maybe cover in black vinyl or perhaps some of that carbon fibre lookalike sticker sheet, so to look like a carbon frame protector. Then I'd go for a big simple Honda wing like on the CBR600RR, maybe in a matt black finish would like quite good, with black HONDA along bottom of fairing and black Honda wing logo on tank

I know how you feel, it's why I sold my Gn125, that bike had a TOP SPEED of 100kph, so you'd get there on a flat but when you come upon an incline your speed takes serious hit.

    Bloody good idea!
I was going for the black honda wings on the tank

the big wing logo in black is not a bad idea.... might keep the frame alloy look tho...can get the wing made up first and decide later

It might mean the cages can see you a bit better (Hopefully - if they are looking)

Oh here we go again. I'd much rather wear out a set of tyres touring the South Island - more to see :cool2:

I seem to recall throwing up something a similar colour to your fairings.

Rather than trying to sort out colour schemes, may I suggest two possible avenues to explore.

Firstly you could put some stickers on the fairings advertising local companies, and also write the name of a local motorcycle shop, either in paint, vinyl or crayon, and tell everybody that your in the shop racing team.

Alternatively you could replace the screen with something cheap, such as a black polythene bag, or corragated cardboard, then remove a couple of fairing screws, and replace then with cable ties or string. Then tell everybody about how you ride on the ragged edge etc and reguarly highside the bike.

Actually, ignore all of that, just get it painted black and put some KB stickers on it. You can't go wrong with black, hides all the dirt, and doesn't hurt anybodys eyesight.

Stick another black stripe just below the indicator, and carry it on to the tank. Either that or carry it on to a Honda wing on the tank
