i binned my bike on my side of the road landed on my back and the bike landed on me, and fell at the side of me and continued to run spinning in circles and this was in rush hour traffic and not one person stopped to help me just rubber neckers, traffic cop said it was because i was wearing black leathers and they pressumed i was i gang member it just dont figure if it was them i would of stopped to help them or maybe they would of refused my help coz of the leathers !!!!

It does show how dumb people really are though huh? You wear leather because you want to save your own skin but all most people can see is 'stereotype' Gang bikie guy.

What I think could be interesting is....if there was a KB ride to Wanganui and we all wore our KB T-shirts would we have to all go our own way if someone reported to the Police that they felt intimidated by this 'patched gang' ?

Sometimes the whole tough-image can be used to your advantage.
Squigs and I were on a sttehighway just north of Taupo last year when a stupid woman pulled out right in front of us from a side road. 100km zone, she didn't even stop to look... anyway, after a lot of 'what the hell was that?!' arm waving and a one fingered slaute, she kept right back. Doing less than 70km I'd say, there was no way she wanted to see us again.
And this was on Squig's GSXR750, loaded up to the max with camping gear.
Tent poles strapped to your pack can be very intimidating, apparently...
