    Triumph-only rides

Being a member of RAT NZ we tend to ride with TRIUMPHS only as do the Hogs...... Company loyalty etc
I presume that the Italian makes do as well???
Do any Jap bike rider take offence at this or do the have like Suzuki only rides???

Ducati certainly organise some big ones as do other Eurpean makes. Honda is also well represented. Not sure about other Jappa brands.
Personally, I have never seen the point. I would rather choose the people that I ride with than qualify them by what they ride.
I may not be as good as I once was, but I'm as good once as I always was.

yeah, it all seems a little separatist and kinda pointless really - i'd rather just ride with whoever wanted to come along, idiots notwithstanding.

i snuck along on a bears ride once(my flatmate had a sportster, his mate had bonnie), on a HONDA...and even worse, a 2 STROKE!! hahaha i got hassled but i give as good as i get and the bike made it out in one piece so all good

Well if you belong to the RAT NZ club you expect that only RAT bikes turn up, same with HOG club,

There are honda track days (open to anyone), suzuki track days(suzuki only)

But the japan 4 don't really have there own brand rides, that i hear off.

Track days i understand since its often the company helping foot the bill for the track and rather have people that have there brand of machine. and if you are in a club for a certain type of bike, you only expect those bikes or members of that club to go ride.

Some people may take offence to that, but no matter what you do someone will be offended by it somewhere some how

    Very true.
In this case, I don't see it as an "offence" thing. After all, we are all of us, free to organise almost any common interest group that we choose, which is how it should be.
It's just not to my taste.

There's the Moto Guzzi only rallies in alternating North and South Island every Labour Weekend called the Rattley Tappets (correct me if I'm wrong). So I presume you'd see only Guzzi's riding in that vicinity

Common interest. Solid ground for building friendshups. Camaraderie.
And a whole lot less folks you will find offencive telling you how much better their bike is - no matter what old dunger it is.

Many of them own both now. You should try relocating to this decade.
