Left hand lane chock full of traffic waiting for lights to change when cage just stops in lane about twenty metres from the lights. No warning nothing. Bloody near rear ended her. Swerved and pulled up along side of her. Gave her an earfull and reved the bike to get her attention. Bitch just ignored me. The part that realy pissed me off is that under the law it would have been my fault. Yet if she knew where she was going she would have changed lanes way back and not tried to change close to the lights.

Hooks she probabley got her license from the same place your one did; dream land

That's a bad intersection for that sort of idiot behaviour. People seem to think they can make the lane change either left or right, right there at the lights!!!

Years ago when I did my motorcycle full licence test......out in the car park with my trusty 250....tester arrives (old guy with what looks like the bottom of milk bottles for glasses)...
Checks over the bike with comments like "they didn't have things like this in my day"....explains the route we'll take for the test and off we go.
I'm keeping a watchful eye on my speed....indicating at everycorner.....stopping at stop lights...playing it cool
Look in the mirror....He's not even in sight...I had to wait for him to catch up.

After several stops to wait for him we get back.....He informs me that I passed because I looked like I knew what I was doing....sweet.
I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy

Sad part is, if he'd hit anything, he probably would have been blamed for the accident.
It is an awesome sound hearing a truck like that locked up. Pretty scary.... One the size of a quarry truck tried to turn into my lane before noticing me and locking it up.... What a sound

There was a good couple of hundred meters and i had been following him since Dunedin so he should have known i was there.....

    Yep

I used to think that the bone-headed manoeuvres pulled by most cagers - cutting me off, driving straight at me etc - was because they can't see bikes.

Then I got my car liicence and noted no drop in incidences of blatant stupidity and came to the conclusion that they can't see, PERIOD.

Doesn't matter what you drive, they'll still drive with heads firmly inserted in arses and try to kill you - people drive into trucks, too.

Best you can to is buy either an armoured car (so it won't matter if they hit you) or ride a bike and be prepared to take whatever gap that providence provides you with ...

When people reach a certain age, they are retested for their licenses.
Perhaps the age should be lowered to 16! - for retests, because there are just as many young fuckwits as old!

I dont like riding round town anymore, and if i can walk to where im going (i walk on average about 10K a day), i do.

Yeah I'll say there are certainly some idiots out there, was driving home in my volvo tonight with lights on and some guy walks across the road in front of me, forcing to put on the horn on and the brakes (unfortunetaly). What really bugged me was the guy was talking on his cell phone and didn't even turn to look at me, I didn't think my horn was that quiet, that he wouldn't here it over his stupid cellphone. It was like he either didn't care or didn't see me (Don't no how you can missed headlights at night???)
Life is difficult because it is non-linear.
