Lynda beat you to this bit of good news in the "Racing" section of this very site:

    Thanks Prime

I don't think many will care who was *first* with that fantastic news but it is far more important that everyone with an interest in this subjeect knows about it.

And- that they email Prime - and Yamaha also.

BTW does anyone have an email for Yamaha??

If you guys are going to argue basically you're the man Bill as you posted it on Silver Bullet first and then our man Hoon spotted it and posted it on this link http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/showthread.php?t=4909

All the others started other threads unecessarily.

I can't find a Yamaha e-mail at work - might have one at home as they send me customer surveys for my WR but may only given postal address - I'll see if I can rememebr to check. Yamaha Motor NZ is of course part of Yamaha Motor Australia much like Prime NZ is a subsidiary of Prime Australia.

Yeah, Yamaha seem to be most unavailable.
I have looked everywhere. It is not on their website.......

Prime here has channel nine as its major source

As a matter of fact I sent this message to Andrea Bell this morning:

    For your info Andrea
MX GPs are a World series and currently feature two Kiwis.
Ben Townley, from Taupo, is leading the MX2 class and is almost assured to be the world champion and Josh Coppins from Motueka, is running a strong 3rd in the MX1 class. You probably didn't know that.................
MotoGPs get up to 50,000 spectators in Europe. But the coverage in NZ is, politely, abysmal.
These guys are right up there with our Olympian medal winners !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Youthstream - the promoters are very helpful and after a battle SKY are now showing coverage a few weeks after the event.

If Prime has an interest more details on the availability and costs perhaps you would care to contact:
    Gerard: gerard@totalproject.co.nz
    Vicki: btracing@xtra.co.nz

    Regards
    Bill

So we're all off now to trade up to Yamahas? If they're giving them away, I'll have an FJR1300. Otherwise I'm waiting (patiently) for the MT-01... But then there's that rumour about an 05 ZRX1300R...

Any blue Yamaha is most definitely OK.
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.
