Got picked up by a mate on his ZZR 250 to go and pick up my first bike, a Honda Spada. Poor Bling is only a leaner himself so it was a slow ride over to Hamilton. Bike looked good in red even with a couple of leaners scratches ( I hope I dont add to them). So off we went, managed to negotiate the traffic, the V-twin makes good power just off idle. Out on to the open road, the bike was doing 8500 revs @ 100ks seems like too many but am told thats right. I was feeling really confident by the Kaimais and had an absolute blast fanging up those hills. A small drop of rain saw all that confidence come to a stop on the down hill, a small shimmy mid corner and I nearly SH*T myself. Cruised the rest of the way home and spent the hour taking all the neighbourhood kids up and down the driveway. Any way I'm hooked loved it cant wait till the next time we go out, or even if the kids want to go on the driveway again.
