It was supposed to be a BSA Shooting Star.....but dad wouldn't lend me the money.

So, the mighty Suzuki T500, clip ons, chambers and TT100's. The bike looked awesome, the pimply idiot in the open face helmet with the remains of a leather jacket somewhat destroyed the image.....

    1974, if I recall.

My first bike was at 14yrs old, in 1973.
    A Yamaha 50cc.
It was the first of the 50cc road bike shapes, rather than a scooter.
I even got a helmet with the bike and they cost me $300.

Dad saw me coming up the drive with it and
told me.... "get it in the garage before your mother see's it"

    Here it is!
Had a ball rebuilding it. What a learning curve that was.
Like others I wish I still had it.
May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face.

Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?
