Watch that back tyre though. I've got one of those and it's a shitter on the black stuff. Not bad for mud or gravel though.
shit bart logic actually makes sense

Not really. I'm just trying to justify the frustration of changing my own damn tyres. Shit I wish I had a spare set of rims.

At the end of the day changing wheels is the same as changing tyres except for the tyre change part.
I mentioned vegetables once, but I think I got away with it...........

have you tried changing a tyre on the dr650 yet? cos apparently they are very swear inducing. KLR no probs.

According to my banker, it takes more than logic to make sense of motorbike expenditure, bless her (again).

Not sure I'm keeping the rear wheel yet. If I do it's going to be shod for the knarlier stuff.

I haven't on mine yet, but helped a mate with his DR650. I didn't believe him when he said it was a bitch of a thing. I had a go.........and the rubber hammer got a work out. Had to really beat the tyre down into the well in the rim. Wasn't too bad, but certainly harder than the 18 inch DRZ rear.

Joe and Dave were at my place saturday and changed the rear on Dave's bike. I was going to take a video of the comedy show as there was a lot of sweating and straining for not much progress.

It appeared to be a lot more difficult that other tyres changes I've seen done.

Yep that's the 2nd time I've done the rear tyre on the Black beastie - bloody biatch of a job on the 17" wheel!
    Cheers, Dave

Not a bad tyre, I had one on my F650 for the first D.B. and it handled eveything o.k. Prolly crap in the mud though, but it has more knobs than the E-08 I've got on @ the moment
