Who's got a TL1000s or TL1000r?

hmmm not sure if what I went over was the coro.. but did go over a range of some description.. goin up from maunganui side was a few sweepers.. goin down was a few twisties.. unfortunately I was behind 4 cars and 3 trucks... by the time the cars got past the trucks it was the second to last twistie (or the last.. can't remember) and it wasn't much fun stuck behind the cars and trucks....

Yeah ya should organise something before xmas.. a ride someplace or rather... I'd be keen. =)

Not this weekend but next, if i have enough money saved up, will be heading out Coromandel/Waihi way, awseome roads if you've never ridden out that way, come along, i'll be on my ZXR250, so should be able to keep up

Been looking at the calendar & trying to work some way that I can join ya, if its the Coromandel you'll be hitting on the 29th & 30th I can't make it. Think it would be hell of a blast though, have never been there. If ya dates change or go out again another weekend i'll willl be keen to hook up for a blast, as long as ya don't mind me riding 2up.

Stock Busa... Well, the coating. The polishing came from the squid who had the Busa before me. Busa wheels are a direct relacement provided you use the TL's spacers.

This ones out waterveiw way, dude used to have a ZXR400, myslef i reckon the black/silver TLR is the best looking without a doubt, in fact the TLR is a damn cool looking bike full stop, the only thing that stopped me buying one orginally was they were a bit more expensive than the TLS, and now after kicking it round on the GSXR1000 for a while it'd be hard to go back to a lesser bike, but i'm gonna have to soon $$$$$$$

No probs on ya riding two up either, if guys get out in front they wait up at all major turnoffs so no one gets left behind, and plus the extra weight over the rear makes for some mad wheelies

BC mate your bike looks better and better everytime you post up, reckon you should post a series of pics from the before to now, just so people know how much work you have put into your bike, wish i could say i've put just as much effort into mine

Oh yeah and cheers for the hook up onn the shock TLRdoug or DRZdoug now sorted me out.

New in Jan of ’03 (leftover ’01 with 1 mile on the clock).

Threw it down the track in July of ‘04

June of ’05 it was looking new again.

I find the TL'R really holds it's own 2up while ridding with others, my buddy had issues pulling away last Sunday while we did the Coromandel loop & he was ridding a 05 CBR 1000 RR

I always get this funny thumping sensation in my side everytime the wheel yanks up while riding 2up, not sure what it is?

No pain in my side while pulling a wheelie 1up? Weird aye :spudwhat:
