I got sintered pads but the rotors that were on there were not OEM but clever cast ones. They did not work well. Kic mentioned earlier that they should have been good in fact very good but I'm happier with them off and have lots more stopping powere with the wavy stainless. I have a six potter set here ready to go on but will see how I go with this combo first.

I've just been out and about with a mate of mine. It was interesting as we went through some bumpy knarly roads. I've still got lots to learn thats for sure.

    Cheers

Didn't 98TLS have a six pot setup on his? I am sure he didn't think it was as good as the later GSXR set up he has now

Change the brake lines to braided ones and do the double lines down instead of single with cross over it will make a difference .

Yeh 98 said the six potters didn't give much feel. He has now got an awesome set up. I'll just potter along and get things sorted little by little

No worries about the hijack mate.

Yep I have concerns that you are looking at an R rather than an s.

To many Kms for my liking. You must be able to better than that for the money.

As has been said thats big kms fella, dont want to put you off but unless the bloke was somewhat of a TL fanatic (read as mad like myself) then there will be plenty to do to it,looks well tidy in the pics. There old and most have been thrashed (or should have been) so unless you like spending time in the shed sorting stuff i wouldnt bother to be honest,if you do then enjoy and let us know.

    Who's got a TL1000s or TL1000r?

thanks mate should be down south again feb next year. still love riding my tls. got 05 gsxr fork conversion an ohlins rear. so suspension feels alot nicer than stock. but honestly compared to the 1198 it feels pretty slow an abit soft. the duke goes nuts an handles awesome. but hey its 13 years newer. dont get me wrong i like da tl an will never sell it.
