Yeh the 1198 is a great bike.

I have loved getting back on the TL. It is a real hoot to ride but I have to think a little more about where I put her on the road.

That gsxr conversion sounds like it is the way to go. I'll just do the fork oil etc first.

I'm really pleased with the way my brakes are though. I've had a great win there.

Right then stuff I have done to gerty :-)

Have spent heaps of time on her and fine tuned her to as close as she can be to what I would like in a ride.

As well as that there are some basic cosmetic mods that I have done.

    New Rotors.
    New sintered bads.
    New brake and clutch levers
    Reinstaled steering damper and brackets.
    New Billet sproket cover.

She is going so very well, Have had a few little moments but not as many as I expected on the pilot powers 2cts

    Thats a good looking TL

Mine got me to Taihape on Saturday but thats where the fun stopped , left it there and me and my very patient pillion got a ride home , she in luxury on a cruiser me on the back of a TLR . I went back and picked it up today , has the C42 fault code ( new one for me ) but thats the ignition not talking with the ECU so a bit more electrics to sort .. getting boring now .

    Cheers mate.

Thats sounds like right pain in the arse. You've been having a few problems was this a shake down ride or did you think you had them sorted.

I wonder what the guy at the start was talking about...

We went out for a coro loop on our twins saturday , was leaving right when the MV club went past.

Was a great day, unfortunately no footage as I have not solved the camera mounting solution...

Yep, I had one that went on that ugly cross bar that hold the nose cone and mirros up....

My new visor is too dark of a tint to use a cam behind it.

Yeh he was funny, he was giving a few pearls of wisdom. Clever guy.

I was gonna do the corro loop today with a few guys until I thought it through a bit more about the aucklanders going home.

I could but I'd just have a real dark video, my old visor has a wee bit of high side damage

I was thinking of making a hole in the new visor and fitting a small peice of clear polycarb for a cam port... i think this will make my bike ugly...er
