Is the leak by the shift fork?I know this is a common problem but an easy fix.
Did you go to TLPLANET?you will find out anything you want to know about the TL there.
Ha Tiller, yeah I went to TLplanet and registered, there are alot of TL riders in Vic, the thing I have seen here is you see alot of TL riders riding together, sounds pretty good when you get 3 or 4 TL's blitzing off the line together.

I noticed the oil dripping from the the front of the belly pan?, only happened the one time and have been away in brisban so have not looked at it yet.
The guy from the bike store mentioned the shift fork.
    I might check it tonite.

Yea it's always the way isn't it, i have proved myself wrong many a times.
I hope i don't have to find out either but it's always a possibility that it could happen. So in hindsight i always wear good gear and my newly acquired (sp) back protecter.

    Q. how many K's can expect to get from my bike, the fuel light comes on at around 140-149, I manged to get to 170 before I decided it was time to refill, today the light came on around 170 and I filled at around 190.
So is 210k to much to ask for from the big boy.

The fuel light comes on really early. First it blinks .... then it *ahem* comes on hard.. you should be able to get 220 - 240 from a full tank.

I took mine to 250 going through Waioru - Damn near shat myself thinking I was going to run out and freeze to death.

Yeh mate you are not wrong there

She was delivered home today and is in immaculate condition (like brand new).

The first thing I did was sort the tps as I have been mucking around with the inlet manifolds (down at the shop) all sounds and looks good.

I can not quite get into the riding postion which I am a bit pevvvved about but it is getting closer.

I havent seen or caught up with your mate yet (aaron ?), I think a red tillr would look pretty good, I haven't seen many that colour.

Would he be keen to hook up? If so pm his details.

Hey put your mount on as well, just have to do a slight modifcation but perfect length good skills

Wasn't that black one that came in the other day Glen? The hyperpro's are damn nice looking dampers for sure, good to hear they work well too, once i sort the rear out i'll be doing the steering damper, if a deal for a second hand ohlins rear damper falls through chances are i'll get a complete hyperpro rear shock.

    Ohhhh can't wait

Just after Xmas Glen. Court ah fuck i've been down that road before, Cop never got a fix on me but he reckoned he was doing almost 200clicks and i pissed off on him, oppps only to run a bit wide on the exit ramp and end up in a garden still going mind you, only to have a rock bend the side stand and pop out the kill switch , so there i was 50m into a garden going no where.

Damage - Dangerous Driving, Failing to Stop, Exceeding 100kph (by a fair bit) And was only on my restricted (thought it was a fast 250 officer)
Lost my licence for 7 months and $1600 odd in coin, got off fookin lightly really being my first offence back then, insurance premiums are bloody high though, hmm wonder why.

When the fuel light starts flashing, you have 4 litres of fuel, when it comes on solid, you have 2 litres.........
Milage is obviously dependant on how hard you've been riding the bike. But as said above, anywhere from 200-240ks a tank.

As a comparison: On the waikato ride yesterday I got about 190km and the light had been on solid for a few k's (was getting a little worried) But that was riding about as hard as I could for the hole tank, trying (in vain) to keep up with a (oh the shame of it) much smaller bike ridin by two smoker.
