I'm used to very good brakes and pretty good front suspension so that is taking a bit to get used to.

Have just got in from a fun outing with some of the crew. Had an absolute ball. I will be happier with some front brakes though.
    Great wheelies tonite GOSH.

I have a spare sprocket cover in Black if your interested, let me know.

The TL's looking good too Mike, is there much difference in handling and braking in your opinion?
Yep very interested in the black sprocket cover. Would you mind posting a pic to confirm. Is it one of Vans?

I pissed around with mine a bit mate, just couldnt get them right, first ride with the gixxer forks and radial calipers i pretty much said "thank fuck for that",you may have better results than me and look forward to what you think, what year calipers are you getting?not sure if and when they changed em.That said it may well be how there used etc,i grew up riding bikes with no rear brake (read as might not as well have had one) and all these years later i really dont give a shite what the experts and books say i simply dont touch the thing, who knows but as i said be interested to see what you think of them after riding what you have of late.

No worries, It would just get lost/scratched/broken in my shed.
Here is what I did with the worm drive cover. It's cheaper than buying something new to cover it.

Yes mate I don't touch the rear unless I am real hot into a corner.

The newer technology must give a better ride and more accurate cornering. Not to worrt baby steps for me

The calipers are from a 2002 (gold like yours) and I used similar last time so see how we go.
