For the most part. Still have a 'ding' in the tank. So this side looks better than that side.

I was able to have a little fun at the track back in Nov though.

Still looks mint BC, is that a gixxer thou front end? Alot of nice parts on there too. How do find the crash knobs fitted there, i looked at fiting mine there but they hit my knees, so i mounted them up one engine mount, under the fairings, had to cut a section out to make em fit snug thou.

Of all the damage i did in my last off, i reckon the ding in the tank that i got hurts the most.

It's a lot harder on the chain, though, as it has to go around a tighter radius. Having said that, I opted for one tooth down on the front of the VTR and it was brilliant (if a little noisy). I also took two links out of the chain, which brought the wheelbase to about the length of a TL and made it wheelie much easier.

You can get a "Yellow Box" but they aint cheap and i'd rather buy a rear tyre instead.
There is a speedo adjuster you can buy from Jaycar Electronics which is only $40ish, and you just dial in how many percent up or down the speedo needs to read. I haven't actually tried one, but I reckon it'd be a good way to go.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

The forks are off a '03 TLR, the calipers are off a ZX12R, the fender and master cylinder are off a TLR. Stock TLS clip-on remain.

The crash knobs aren't worth a shite in their current location. In fact they came out with no damage after the incident. I'm thinking of moving them to where you said... just need to do that little tweak to make them work there as well.

Yep, the tank is an eyesore. I have a plan to get my old tank fixed up (yes, this is my second tank) since it's a smaller ding that could fixed a littler easier.

Sorry guys been working way to hard as of late, four 16 hour days in a row had me at wrok or bed riden, the 28th is the day i ride legally, so anytime after that i guess, the weekend of the 1st and 2nd none of will proberly be in a rinding state, although i'm all good for mid week rides, most you proberly aren't, correct me if i'm wrong, but maybe looking at the weekend of the 8th and 9th as a good time to plan for, me love the cormandel long time, so that is my prefered place to ride, but open to ideas.

v-twin goodness oh i mean loudness, shit i better get me some pipes before then, but a group ride TL ride would be choice alright. Suzuki

    Hi guys,

just put my TL1000S on the forum's bike mart. Any guys checking out the TL thread, have a look, you can't go wrong with one of these.
also there is a comparison thread on the TL and Honda's VTR, makes for some fun background reading.

Might convert a VTR rider to our darkside...
