Have not done airbox mod yet, but have just setup suspension, with settings from sportsrider .com, was having trouble running wide on corners but seems good now,( might have been going to fast !!! ) also changed the oil in the steering damper to lighter grade. Hope to meet a few riders out there.
    Hey dude,

By any chance have ya got a Aaron Slight signature on the front of that beast?

Here's a site where you can download TL -TLR workshop manuals, also a TLR racing manual, and a good tuning video for setting up your TPS on your throttle bodies.

Thumbs up Its a funny old world

Well after quite a few different bikes and 6 - 675's I've gone and got myself another red 97 TL1000s.

I havent stopped playing with it (the bike) since I got her home.

Had my first decent ride on her the other day with some of the lads Brilliant. Bit of a shake down and showed me that I will have to do a bit of relearning and also that locktight will once again be my friend.

It has a full yoshi two into one system, Bitubo rear suspension, rear height adjuster and a few other things done to her.

She's not perfect and I'm gonna enjoy doing a few things to her.

That 2 into 1 is nice! do ya think it's any different power wise compared to the original setup?
Also wondering what the sound difference is in your opinion....

There may be a few hp gained at the rear wheel but not a huge amount. However, the weight saving is pretty impressive which of course helps with the performance.

The sound is really nice. At low revs its just a really nice deep v2 sound when you put pressure on it she barks and is quite agressive.

She has a TRE on board and the chap I got it off said that they tuned it with a yoshi box. It doesn't back fire or over run so I think that it has been done. However, I would be very interested to have a look and a fiddle for sure. Is the box quite basic to use?
