Caught on camera: Video fun in the Wairarapa

For some time I have had in my photographic kit a "magic arm" which is designed to clamp almost anywhere and onto which you can attach a camera...or better still, a video camera! The arm has three joints which twist and lock rigid once set on the desired position. I decided to try it out and experimented with various points (shooting angles) on the bike.
Bex and I spent some time in the Wairarapa shooting both on and off the bike. The result can be seen here... Thanks to Kendog for the latest shots edited in too!

(I found it best to select the smaller screen size when viewing. Or sit back a bit from your PC)

The next attempt will include footage shot from the car - I felt that there wasn't enough shots of the bike itself...but hey, it's a first attempt! Enjoy!

Location: Gladstone Loop and Carterton back roads. Moonshine Road. Kirton Drive (Riverstone)...oh, and my garage!

    Camera: Canon MV800i Mini DV

Edited on a Mac in iMovie HD

Soundtrack: Motorbikin' by Dee Dee Ramone. Enhanced with effects in GarageBand

I laughed when the woman poked her head out from behind, it was surprising.

I made a bracket that fits onto my petol cap surround, which I've then mounted the head of an old tripod. Tryin it out the weekend on the ColdDuck. I'm too lazy to read the manuals and use Windows Movie Maker to capture the video. Can you do all the editing and add sound with that easily?
