    Talking Slighty gets the learn....

    ...NOT!
Today I was fortunate enough to be apart of a day long tuition session with Aaron Slight at the Taupo track care of the Honda Riders Club after I won a competition.
Left home at 6:45am in order to get into Taupo by 8:30am for breakfast care of Honda.
Fark me! I've never ridden on ice before!! The whole entire way the ground was white with frost and ice
Between Rotorua and Taupo I could not see more than 10m at any stage which made for interesting riding...nah...it just sucked but farked if I was going to miss out on breaky!
Finally got there, met the crew and then proceeded to the track for some tuition...some much needed tuition.
I was amazed that by Slight simply showing me some decent lines and throttle control how much faster I became during the day...as in 13sec's per lap and no I wasn't a complete learner to start with either!

HUGE thanks to Slighty and HRC for a day I won't forget...oh pic of the day/my life below and video to follow

What a legend! On that shitty end of the back straight corner too!!

I wanna what you did in a former life to be such a jammy prick now...

That your way of avoiding the ripples in that corner?
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Now that is wicked cool - c'mon you big galoof! Give us more details! Would like a break down of the day and the sort of things Slight said!

On ya pokemon prodder! Looks like you were having a ball (and kudos for riding on the ice and frost, something I haven't done yet and not looking forward to either! )
