That's the one. I used to enjoy that little road that runs parallel to the motorway along the waterfront by the yacht club when I had my XR250. Even beat a Gixxer 1000 along that stretch too. However ... he did have to slow down for the huge speedbumps, whilst I used them as an excuse for airtime.

Lol! I've never been down there, but I was going along next to it on the motorway, and there was this guy on a scooter... he was nailing it, he bottomed out on one of the speedbumps and bailed haha. This happened while he was ahead of me, so I saw him pick himself up as I went past, he seemed OK, so I wasn't too worried. Shit it was funny!

I like the left hander as you turn from Botany Road into Cascades... I went through there today and just felt that was the best corner in the world

done about 90 through there I think... there's a very good line to take

Even better is turning right onto botany from cascades. If you get lucky, traffic has cleared out, and hasn't turned orange yet. Race down into the intersection, hard on brakes, down a few gears, feel it lock up, chuck it through corner, over the high-ish crown, bit of wiggle from the rear... yes... I like

Can't beat the SE curves either... I swear if anything is going to teach me not to do it any more... its going to be those concrete barriers

    Scenic Drive

From either end including to Piha and back.

Tight, twisty, full of bumps and ripples and a few curves that just keep going.

    Sounds more like my girlfriend.

Yeah thats a goodun. Turn off Ngapipi onto Paritai Drive and follow it to the end, then turn around and go back that other way. Just watch, there is a fair bit of construction happening around there.

Theres four 55k corners near the Albany end of the Coatesville-Riverhead highway. Going up the hill, nicely sealed and all right after the other.

That waterview on-ramp to town sketches me out a bit cos of the armco on the outside.

My fave is on beach rd on the shore, travelling south between castor bay & milftown there is a lovely uphill left/right combo. Smooth, grippy & curvy - like all the best things in life

I've not found that to bad.

It's bumpy but after the first time I went round on the bike and got shaken about I just ride around the bumps.

My favorite corner on the way to work is along Mt Eden rd heading towards Mt Eden Motorcycles.
Dips downhill and sweeps to the left.

Pithy there are usually cars in the way.
