This is part of a longer sequence of corners. Kiwi Esplanade, Mangere Bridge. The best corner IMHO is the one highlighted in red. Perfect surface, signposted at 25kph, long enough to scrape pegs if you go quick enough. I take this route most days, it would be faster to just go straight to my house, but it's much more fun to take the detour down along the waterfront then back up.

Going south on SH1 through Auckland. Take the off-ramp that loops round under the motorway and into the back of Onehunga.

    Magic!

Northbound on the Northern, off at Greville Rd, 180+degrees right to the on ramp and 180+degrees left and climbing back to the motorway. Good and accessable. Or up Dingle Dell?

fern glen road north (off long drive, st heliers , east auckland)

and riddell road , glendowie, east auckland

once out of auckland....whangamata road omg i love that

and twilight road...and the coast road down to kaiaua / miranda from whiftord damn thats fun. claimed some of my fairing once and a lever but i still love it.

heres fern glen south from google earth

don't ask how long i spent finding it lol

what you don't see is that it's on a big hill and the corners are perfect.

about 12 seconds to type "Fern Glen Road South, Auckland, New Zealand" into the search box?

Gotta agree with mark here. Used to love fern glen north, watch for boyracers on your side of the road people! Riddell road would be great if it was 70, lots of nice sweepy corners. All of those clevedon/kaiaua roads are epic.

Had a good scrape turning right onto the northern motorway southbound the other day. Think it was the silverdale onramp (?).....

Yeah, that Waterview onramp is always good for a lean...unless it's busy with traffic.

My faves are close to home - probably just familiarity. There's 2 mint right-handers going towards Huia Rd on Laingholm drive. Beaut surface - unlike some of the other crap on same road.

It's niiiiice to live in the twisty Waitakeres - always good to see the sign at the start of Lainghom Drive proclaiming twistyness for the next few kms home

Agreed SM, great little road for a thrash!

Nice vid too - though I won't comment about your blindly overtaking a pajero on the blind side round a blind bend with an intersection, I just wanted to see how many times I could write "blind" in a sentence (4 as it happens)
