Nice vid too - though I won't comment about your blindly overtaking a pajero on the blind side round a blind bend with an intersection, I just wanted to see how many times I could write "blind" in a sentence (4 as it happens)

    lol

yeah the things you do when young and stupid.

Sorry to be a downer but when you can die it's not that cool eh.

Getting away with it once (or more) doesn't mean you will again.

My daily commute has the Gt North Rd / SH16 270 deg sweeper (fantastic - today started next to a Ford Xr8 coup in yellow giving me the eye, and by the time I was entering the turn I couldn't even see him in my mirrors) and a nice little bit of scenic drive.

City curcuit includes riddell rd, fern glen south, then along tamaki drive to lower domain drive for a few repeatitions. Then up towards uni for that long downhill left hander to join SH16 towards the port. Quick U, then a final run up and down domain, then a quick blast up the port hill on to SH1.

Twilight is good...one day she will be mine...oh yes...she will be mine. also trig rd in whitford is good.

    In summary: Corners

Not this Thurs, cos it's been and gone, I don't get enough time for myself to get a ride every week. The two ATNR's and a few random ones are all I really get in lately (except for the daily North Western which is K's under the belt and mean's I stay in tune with the bike). If the roads dry on the 24th I'll be there for sure, gonna try to make each second one and follow the big bikes!

Ummm, I wasn't pinching the thread......

Manuka Rd, Glenfield going up the hill isn't one I would have thought of as a typical bike corner but always leaves me smiling. The right/left thru Pare' just up from the prison makes me think, there's room for more speed on that one each time and the new motorway links, no oncoming traffic BRAND NEW ROAD SURFACE!! and good viz.

I take this route most days, it would be faster to just go straight to my house, but it's much more fun to take the detour down along the waterfront then back up.
I travel that road most days...I live up the other end closeish to ambury park...That corners a lot of fun...but the whole roads a goodun.

Yeah? I'm just around the corner from you then. I've never seen another bike in the entire area, apart from some guy who was around briefly on a big KTM single.

    Will keep an eye out

you can make your submissions right now on the Waitakere City council airport option A, split Aucklands air traffic in half and have two running at below the critical mass of profitablity and affordability. B, Have a drag-strip/garage/diplay area/curcuit track and grass track in the same area? We can all have a say, if you don't.. well.. tough
