No noises from top end - bottom end knocks occasionally

Count me in - thanks . Who should I pay - you or the pub?

I'll add my name to the list.

    cheers

    Heated grips........

I thought it was supposed to be an adventure.

    Just kidding. Winter is here.

I've been out in the shed re-gearing the 400 (running 15/41, should be good for about 180). I bought a new $200 headlight after the last ride and just found out it doesn't fit. Bugger. Back to the bike shop tomorrow.

    Looking forward to an adventure,
    Bartman

    Hi All,

For those of you in the North, here's a link to a video I made up from video clips and photos of the Friday leg of the ride us South Islanders did on Friday the 1st June 2007 , as an alternative way to the Brass Monkey rally in Central Otago. I had to return that night due to work commitments on the Saturday , so this videolink only covers the Fridays ride, although others went on to more adventures on the Saturday and Sunday .

It's only 320x240 pixel and I put the fades a bit close together, so if you've got a slow broadband connection, the quality isn't 100% but you get the idea

    Hope you all like it

    It was good

One deep crossing there to overcome, but I liked the teamwork
Thats what it is all about.

    Hi there

There are a few places for fuel, but we will probably fill up at Urenui (on the coast), to accommodate those bikes with smaller fuel capacity.
    Others may get to Awakino

Also a reminder that DAY 2 is flexible
So if we end up enjoying the Whanga Pub more than we should, then the day may be shortened

Also some riders have a long way to go home, so make plans accordingly

    Cheers Scott
