Saw something very similar at Feilding Field days a couple of years ago, CRF250 type thing.
Honestly I wouldnt bother, youre better with a 2nd hand CRF230, xr or DRZ250, or similar. They're just not up to it yet, and still suffer from crap materials and spares back up is never as good as the importers claim.
As soon as you buy them you have to start fixing them and upgrading where you can - as an engineering teacher, I get so many chinese bike bits bought to me by students, never seen anything from japan yet...
But then again - if you want to learn more about metalurgy, electrics, mechanics, bodging and ultimately frustration, go ahead...
I'm sure the chinese will get there, but just not quite yet...
    Just my opinion.

Looks nice. I imagine it runs more or less the same as mine. Not too sure about the pink seat though...

Er, yup. I'm thick skinned, though. May I ask how your DT goes? Good for trail & twisty roads? Apparently one of the few differences between the two is piston porting on the WR.
My wee Lanza is a barrel of laughs but the G/F lives on it.

20 years ago, if you had a ZXR750 for the road and a WR200 for the dirt, you were on top of the curve! I don't know where the DT designation quite fits in; perhaps there all along but most ppl in Aussie didn't register them and I never hear the DT part mentioned (saw a couple at a trail ride in Kaingaroa forest a good few years ago).
    Cheers,
    Colin

Personally, I haven't taken in trail riding (unless you count roads rutted by logging trucks ). It more or less keeps up with all my buddies' road bikes in the corners.
I never knew the porting was different. I assumed they were the same engine.

More or less, yep. Just slightly different piston from what I gleaned off the interwebs. The WR is ported the DT is not.
