I don't have one yet, just considering options. Given that I have a nissan terrano and ducati st2 I'm used to gutless and thirsty, I do like the sound of hard to kill though.....
This is where specs are fun, seemingly less hp and heavier than the aprilia.
So what's the achilles heel of the KLR? DR650's do 3rd gear, XT600's do 5th gear, hondas are gay....

Shamefully my addiction requires that I have several bikes (have owned over 70 in total)
IMHO this is one of the better one's, It just sits in a nice place, very good on the road, not too heavy to be ok off road, and cheap to buy and run, lot of bits to buy on the internet, and I tend to ride it about 10kph slower than the Orange twin (well most of the time)
Minus's, people don't give them much cred and not the pose value of say a KTM (which make it more fun if you pass one) you can still loose your licence on it as have seen 155kph on the gps on its best day
Choice bike me thinks

Sadly my only experience of kwakas has been clunky overweight shitters that leaked all over my garage floor, so have a philosophical dislike of the entire species.
Might have to find some bikes to ride for comparison purposes

I've been told the pegasso used a rotax engine and then an xt 660 engine and they are bullet proof. I have a 2011 xt660z tenere, its not gutless or thirsty but is heavy @209kg wet. Anyway if the pegaso has the yamaha engine it would be worth a look. My speedo said 183 kph and i thought yeah right

There are 30L tanks floating around too.
Just the rack and seat shizzle wouldn't be off the shelf for sure, but as you say, you can get around that.
I can in no way afford it, but for some reason I checked all that out after I spotted it.
Ain't they just a standard TTR finished in Italy with better suspenders, brakes and pipe? Bit like an "R" version of the standard bike.
Manopausal.
No electric leg = bad.
I mentioned vegetables once, but I think I got away with it...........
Owner lists this at $3K with realistic reserve which we now know is $8,900. (unless he's changed it?) Bit of a stretch for a bike with no leckyleg and requires a learning curve to kick over properly. If ya get it wrong ya leg looks like that blokes above, great for a BRP enthusiast though.
