Still don't know who the prick is. I should've walked around school for a bit to see if anyone was sporting their new helmet but a mate was able to give me a lift to home and back to grab my old MX helmet and I couldn't keep him waiting

Have you tried parking around a corner where no one normally walks around?

I go to HIBS and never had a problem but thats probably because its a bit more controled here (but not too controled)

Coyote, if it is possible to look at the bright side of things, just see this as a way to make you safer. If your lid has had a few knocks then this is an opportunity to replace it with something that will protect you to a much better standard.

Hopefully the "skux" will find the weakpoint of the helmet whilst travelling through the air at a great rate of knots prior to impacting a solid object...

Could you claim on your parents home and contents insurance for your helmet? Just pay the excess and get a better quality one? Or is that not a viable option.

I do hope that this gets sorted for you dude. Go talk to people like the receptionist at your school, they normally see a lot of people walking around and might have seen the 'lil rascal' who did this. Otherwise they could slip it into the newsletter, let them know that they could have actually done a bit of harm to you if you had to of riden home without your helmet.

Give it a few years into your teaching carrer and I doubt u'd be reconmending people to complain to the ERO....

Dude, sux u lost ur helmet, but don't leave it where people can steal it. Its not your fault they stole it, but you could of stoped them stealing it.


Maybe sweet talk a recepion lady or teacher and ask if there is an out of way place u can store u helmet jacket and gloves?
