You'd be wrong then and it's 300Z 350Z, stick to bikes. There is nothing wrong with GSX-R's just because they're affordable and reliable! Heaven forbid! Oh and don't forget kick arse bikes.

I'm with ya on that one, pretty much the most sought after supercar is the godzilla skyline, and they clean up most races that allow them there....just like gixxers really

Yeah I reckon, had a '93 Skyline GTS25t and it was a great car, better to drive at higher speed than my XR6 Turbo and the 25t decent brakes too, better that the wodden blocks Ford call brakes!

I can see the point too....

If you can afford one....they really are something else! Still puts me in my happy place when I think about riding the Senna around Taupo.

They'll be $44k to $45k, standard R has come back to $40k. I know it's a lot of money but these things are awesome. Don't compare to cars like Fords or Godzillas, compare to cars like Ferraris & Lambos. The 312 is still pulling HARD when your Jap bike is on the limit. Go ride one if you can, beg or borrow, don't steal. Redline is just over 13000 but engine is good for 15000. I have photos from Hockenheim, will stick one up later.

So it should be for that money! Anyway how fast do you really need to go on a public road? I think when your getting into the upper reaches of these bikes it's all a bit "whatever" really.

If they wanna compare a 50k bike to 20k Japanese bikes, why don't they add the 100k ducati desmo RR to the test too?
I call it like I see it. Don't take it personally.

That's fair enough. The Desmosedici is $125000, mate here has one coming, mate in Ohio has two. When it comes down to it, if you have the money you buy whatever you motherf^^king want. I think the Jappas are great too (shit I got enough of them (H1s, H2s, Z1s etc)) I just think Euro bikes esp Italian have soul and money is just money you can't take it with ya. Most of my mates here ride Jappas, I just like takin the mickey.
