I was thinking about this at the gym. I think your bike has some purple on it? In that case - thats what it is - PURPLE. Re Paint it a sensible colour..

    Bugger.

Well done on not getting hurt when constructing your excuse to buy a new bike.

    That looks sweet.

Will you be getting the wheels and seat colours done to match your current CBR?

sorry to hear about your spill grub. At least you came out not too knocked about. Sounds very much like my bin in december, i took something away from that which has helped me try to avoid it happening again.

    My sympathy.
Still, don't know anyone who actually RIDES a bike who hasn't done that. (damn oil dumping autos/trucks) Glad it was not serious.

Thanks everyone ... quite blown away by all the messages.

I think I have just discovered what attracts the girls to retail therapy. Well perhaps this is taking it a little to the extreme.

We're off to Taupo Friday night for the VMCC Meeting on Sunday .... so now the free day we had on Saturday for "messing around" will be spent nipping up to Tauranga to pick up the new bike and back again via Pyes Pa, Rotorua and Taupo.

I hate to see the old CBR in such a sorry state, it has personality and a soul, but it seems everything else has sort of fallen into place.

Here, here. Chin up and keep smiling.

Almost joined you on the lowsiding side of things today.

New roundabout on college rd = loose chip piles between wheel tracks.
Had a biker pull out on me, saw me and stopped directly in my path.
I swirved + accelerated to avoid him and had the rear wheel come around 45 degrees to my left before it regained traction.
Must've been a good show for those around to observe... motard styles on a rgv!

Was kinda fun in a i-need-to-change-my-underwear sort of way. Need to get myself a dirt bike

Hope you aren't too banged up.
