Can scooters ride in bicycle lanes??

Best place for those little scooters are in the Rubish Tin. If you want to ride scooters get a decent Lambreta or Vespa wich you can ride on the motor way, leave the cycle lanes to the cyclist

Yeah, but then you need to have a bike licence, which would mean you would be mad to ride a scooter in any case. You might as well ride a proper bike.

I think any vehicle capable of over 40kmh is allowed on the moterway. I saw a police 10/7 and they pulled over a guy driving a tractor on the motorway but couldn't do him for anything cos he was going over 40kmh (just).

Off topic (which I think was pretty well answered anyway), I missed that episode. What about Inconsiderate use if he was blocking anyone??

I'm not sure I'd go anywhere near a motorway on a 40km/h scooter. Especially on Auckland's motorway where you'd be likely to be beaten and shot for holding up someone trying to get home to see Shortland St.
