    Classic Motorcycle Quotes

    I did a search on a few of these and found nothing, although some I've heard before. (Cut'n'paste from an email received this morning):

    The first classic race meet that I went to when we moved to Auckland (attended by John Surtees) had a program that included a glossary of motocycling terms.

    They were magic - sadly I can only remember 2 of them.

    Saddlebag - An unattractive female pillion passenger.
    Rectifier - That type of accident where the rider leaves the machine and slides down the track in a sitting position.
    I may not be as good as I once was, but I'm as good once as I always was.
