On the BBC web page http://www.bbc.co.uk/, under the bottom right column “Don’t miss”, there is a video of speeding bikers. Unfortunately, I’m blocked at work from viewing the video but thought I’d mention it for those who aren’t restricted. Also intrigued to know about the cute chick reference . Happy viewing!

Had to wait thru ages and ages of boring BBC domestic political stuff before the item (it was the last item) on speeding bikers. The thrust of it was on how to slow bikers down, partic on Welsh roads. Pretty lame really, you didnt miss much

There was a quick link on the right you could have jumped forward to the bikes. However, I agree it was a bit lame.

It's probably in relation to the Chief Constable of the North Wales police force (dubbed the "Mad Mullah of the Traffic Taleban" by one newspaper) who is of the opinion that speeding causes (in no particular order):

• Cancer
• Global Warming
• Teenage Pregnancies
• Famine in Africa
• Religious Fundamentalism
• Herpes
• and the decline in popularity of the Saturday afternoon matinee.

Motorcycle News magazine recently presented a petition to the Independent Police Complaints Commission requesting that Chief Cunstable Brunstrom be sacked after he showed the headless corpse of a biker at a press meeting without having the received permission - or even having asked - the family of the deceased. The IPCC will apparently be carrying out an investigation, but considering the IPCC is independent in name only, any such investigation will have one outcome and one outcome only.

Personally, I'm just waiting for him to get caught speeding himself, and then try to argue his way out of it.
