On a fine evening I'm a highly probable starter for a fang to the top of the 'takas, or to the top of the Paekak hill, if anybody ever wants to be seen in the company of a Kawasaki...

I skived off early yesterday afternoon, but not for a ride unfortunately..... Went and had a good chat to Motu instead... About bikes of course.... does that count?
Queiro voya todo Europa con mi moto.... pero no tengo suficiente tiempo o dinero.....
As my mum use to say "well, when you DO get out for a ride you'll appreciate it all the more" or something like that.![]()
BTW Mr Hitcher, love the quote at the head of you messages! (the 'Mi gargre....' thing)![]()

I'm thinkin about going for a blast or 2 over paekak after work tonight.. I shouldn't be at work today!
I shot around the inlet and over the hill on the way home last night, technically it's not skiving coz it's kind of on the way...
Hey MrMelon, what time tonight ?, I'm leaving town about 5... too late ?
Hooray!
Came into some money today thanks to that wonderful auction site...
Back on the bike tomorrow.
Please please please can the sun continue for the rest of the week now... I didn't mean what I said before when I was broke.![]()
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

you carnt help yourself sometimes. I looked at the sky and thought "maaaannnnn..........." shot home during lunch and swapped car for bike. Left work at 5 and shot thru to raglan and back via a few detours. awesome. got home around 12.30amThe previous monday night was sweet too, did the same ride but the moon was so bright visability was like having a white sun.
many other people go riding at night ? more dangerous I know but during the next few months the smells of the country side are nice (except for some i know) and its fun just to cruise and find some veiws (moons out obvouisly)![]()
HA! I can beat all of that!!!
Flew to Wellytown the night before; had a nice curry with friends.
Poped into WCMM to see Craig and WT, rode out on a 99 GSXR750.
Visited some relations in the area while I got used to the new bike, then headed north.
Saw no cops for ages.
Got MPH and KPH all mixed up. Stopped at 150MPH to steady nerves.
Slowed up and took it easy from there.
Rode some utterly fantastic roads up by Fielding and had a ball.
Darkness hit at Waioru, same with the cold.
Had an awesome clear sky, with only a few trucks for company all the way home.
No rain, no speed cameras, no police, no loose livestock.
Just beautiful open roads that were all mine untill I got home totally worn out at midnight.
Big thanks to Craig and Jimmy for their help in making it possible.
One of the best rides I have ever done.
So yes, I had a freaking awesome ride yesterday.
*sigh*
you lucky bugger.
Good on you Curious George.

I love riding at night -- as long as it's not raining! Everything is more intense than riding during daylight and the bike seems to run better in the cooler evening air. Riding by the full moon is fantastic. Maybe I'm a Werebiker?Originally Posted by badlieutenant
