Well, here I was watching it tonight...yes I know, have to get a life.....but they had a dude on there with a GN-250. What really cracked me up was 2 things;
1. They dubbed it's engine noise for a Trumpy 650-type.
2. He put a chick on the back and they were still able to pull a burn-out when he took off.
Am I missing something? Have GN's got a heap more power since I last rode one?

Yeah. I don't watch Shorty St (I have my standards) but Mrs Oakie and I both happened to see it while doing something else. Nearly pissed myself watching the GN on steroids.

I dont watch, nor have I ever watched the famous SS.............but would love to see a GN do a 2 up burnout, sounding like a trumpy!!!

I was watching ss before I went out kbrs in Tauranga (yes i do have a life). Crap acting though, and definetely didnt sound like a GN250. And the poor sucker looks like hes gona give up his bike for his girlfriend, silly bugger! Even if it is a GN 250

I was watching the ole shorty and the bike I heard did not match what I saw ... Grub is like thats a GN250 .. I was like No way ... well what a pisser ... we were laughing away when the guy goes ... "I didn't get over 40" ... bloody hell with her legs around her ears for half the trip I am amazed they didn't fall off!
