Give the honda a set of regular forks and I'd hit that.

Dont be so small minded people, these are concept bike-ideas. Bikes dont get better, faster, smoother handling etc without some brainy bugger thinking to himself " I know, I'll build something wierd and wonderful to see what it goes like". True, not all of them do the bizzo, but lets not forget things like the Britten, the bright bugger who invented suspension, and last but not least, the internal combustion engine, without which, we'd all be peddling or riding horses!

    We'd have steam driven Motorbikes.

Anyway - where are the Bimota Tesi and the Vyrus?

How many people thought USD forks were daft when they first came out?

The advantage of a monoshock CAN be weight reduction - the problem being how to maintain front end rigidity without having to beef up the single leg to the point that it weighs the same as 2 forklegs.

The other problem is it goes all twisty on you (torsion?).

    Fun to speculate.

I liked the Bimota - and it's not there.

I thought the Bimota Tesi was far past the concept stage?

Best bit is it has a 2 Valve Desmodronic engine built to a 20 year old design thumping away it it's heart!

There are some weird and cool bikes on the roads in this world. some even more radical than the concept bikes - this was the point I was trying to make.

Why not? Keeps the weight low.
I guess it's more susceptible to road spooge (and damage), but my back caliper's like that and seems OK.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

Single front forks work on cannondale mountain bikes...bit less weight but they are designed to be jumped etc.

I reckon the NAS bike looks awesome.

For something a bit different there's also the Saga

This my neighbor, Nursultan Tuleiakbay. He is pain in my assholes. I get a window from a glass, he must get a window from a glass. I get a step, he must get a step. I get a clock-radio, he cannot afford. Great success!
