    Smile Roadsafe - Wellington

Just did my Roadsafe Basic Handling Skills and Learn to Ride Course and passed my practical test So just gotta head into town this week and do my scratch test and I'm sorted!
Had so much fun on the course today - met some really nice people and the guy running it Andrew Templeton was top class - made us all feel very comfortable and I feel ten times better equipped to go on the road now.

Would recommend it to anyone considering going for their L plates to do the full day - was totally worth it and I had an absolute blast.

Now all I need to do is save a bit of cash and find a nice inexpensive wee Scorpio to take home

Hope to see some you you folks on the road soon!

    Sam.

Good to see you on Sam! It is a good course and heaps of fun. I wish I'd done that one now...

    Welcome anyway...

Yeah, the Roadsafe learn to ride and BHS all day course thing was recommended to me and having trailed along and done it I'd recommend it to other people too.

Still pretty trouser-filling getting out on the road though, even after learning all that stuff about staying safe. Guess it'll all come together with time.

So are you gonna trade up from the trusty GN to a nice shiny Yamaha Scorchio then? :) There's a guy at work got a new one when he started learning, probably not long after they appeared in the shops over here - he's been really happy with it anyway.
