Bleeding hell. The minute you get a sandblaster near it it will disintergrate!!
We're just two lost souls swimming in a fish bowl, year after year,
Running over the same old ground.
What have you found? The same old fears.
    Wish you were here. QWQ

HMM that their engine needs a little work, and with a little elbow grease she'll be right as rain.

Seriously I think the metal has returned back to it's natural state i.e. metal oxide.

...was going fine and then just stopped... it may be something small and someone may be able to fix it easily...

    It'll buff out !!
Just found that myself ! Only thing worth looking at in there at the moment !
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Bowls can wait !

I'd suggest a little more digging might just uncover the rider.

    BSA unknown 1929

    Style: Classic & vintage
    Make: BSA
    Model: unknown
    Engine size: 250cc
    Kilometres: less than 1000km
    Year: 1929

Vintage bike uncovered in vege patch excavation.

Experts undecided on specific make and model, but it is definately British. Probably a BSA but could be an Ivory Calthorpe, AJS, Norton...

    Age estimated to be 1929-1932.

The wheels, motor, rider and a few bits and pieces are missing, so strictly as is where is.

    A true winter project.

    Good luck.
