There are times in all of our lives when sadness prevails over all else. We deal with our losses and 'move on'. We never leave behind those that we've lost but carry them in our hearts and our memories forever. Other's memories may fade but in our hearts they remain strong and clear.
Stay true. Remember and hold dear to those who've passed on.
Welcome to Kiwibiker - a place for all bikers.
They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the evening,
we will remember them
Welcome to KB.. I have logged into the site and your recount of that horrible day was so sad to read. I am so sorry for your loss... my thoughts are with you.
I just read your story on your site as well, a very moving read.
Welcome to KB. I hope our little family can, in some way, make you feel a little better.
Welcome to the nut house as well.
This really affected me and my partner, as we have had a few Guzzi's over the years and have meet a lot of great Guzzi owners in that time.
Feel the fear and do it anyway
Don't confuse education with intelligence.
There are alot of highly educated idiots out there.
I have just read the site .. very very moving .. very very gut wrenching as well
the statistics are sobering ...
I really feel for your loss, there are just far to many sad sad stories out there. Its always harder to accept when its so senseless
Have toKarma ... Justice catches up eventually !!
Condolences and welcome.
Thanks also for the link.
Got to admit to a tear in my eye after reading that..........so very sorry for your loss....sounds like a great guy...if theres anything i can do to help you guys just drop me a pm..........
Be the person your dog thinks you are...
Cheers mate, i appreciate that
+1 to that.
I have never understood how people can take the chance like that.
There are already so many things that are outside our control that could cause us harm or death. This is one factor we do have control over.
before I go into a full blown rant...... If you let them drink and drive you are not their friend.
Just read through site as well.. definately very moving & very gut wrenching.. I cried.![]()
But also.. bloody good on you for putting it together!!These 3 precious lives need not have been lost in vain. If the site can make just 1 person re-think their actions, or the actions of a family member involved in drink driving.. & in doing so, save 1 motorcyclists (or anyones) life.. then it has been successful!

This country NEEDS changes in it's systems..& it takes the courage & balls of everyday people out there, pushing through their loss & grief.. to evoke these changes!
![]()
I applaud your courage & balls Jos..All the very best to you & your family.. & to the families of Simon & Toni

It lead to a national review of policy!! touch wood.. NO one else will ever have to go through what we went through!
