Hahahaa and dressed the same too..... Tweedle dum and tweedle dummer!!!
Not even with yours!!!
you'd think the upright guy would've gone round the other guy on the inside... he is sliding when he sees him after all
The guy that crossed the centre line looks as though he has 'target fixated' and let off the lean a bit, thus running wider than he was going to originally. All in all, a crap example of riding.
... and that's what I think.
Or summat.
Or maybe not...
Dunno really....
Scumdog, surely you can just take the piece of pipe in question off, then go to a stainless steel fabricator, exhaust specialist or the like and have one made? Even if it costs a bunch, it should be WAY cheaper than $US1k !Originally Posted by scumdog

Yeah, the guy with the white helmet looks like hes just stomped on the rear brake and locked it up!! Mr "run wide" looks like he wants to pitch it in there flat tracker mode!
i'd love to see the next photo... the one with his foot down trying to hold up the dresser!!1
My brother has an XN85 and knows exactly what Scumdog is talking about, every XN85 has the same problem. He made his own,but it's a tricky job to undertake,if the site guys are making them it might not be worth the hassle of doing your own.Originally Posted by firestormer
Hey Scumdog - did you see the brand new in wrapper XN85 muffler on TradeMe last week? I offered it to my brother, but after exchange rates and shipping to Canada he may as well buy one over there.

Yeah but said piece of exhaust has a flange at each end that have to be pretty precisely aligned or the turbo and exhaust won't line up, plus its a funny shape, part round and part oval as it winds its way up through the frame.Originally Posted by firestormer
Will look at taking whole bike to engineers when time comes so they can figure it out easier.
BTW thanks for the input, any help is welcome

No, never saw that, I am just going to use any suitable muffler that fits in the meantime, at the moment it's the trickier bits I'm after - such as aforementioned section of exhaust.Originally Posted by Motu

Mine was in need of work when I got it - square back tyre, stcky waste gate etc so I never got it's full potential but it still hauled, especially up hills, more like an 850 - 900 than the 650 it is.
First road bike Suzuki put out with a monoshock swing arm, it was radical in its day - have a look at the XN85 owners site.

Had a quick look, hadn't heard of them before, but now an ugly monster looms on the horizon - I can't remeber where the vital section of exhaust is!! I may have left it at a now forgotten engineers when I was trying to get one made, shit!!Originally Posted by gav

They made new stainless mufflers for my VF500 when the original left-hand one rusted. Did a pretty good job too, given my instructions were basically "Um... make it a bit louder than stock, please." Ended up with two kinda megaphone-shaped things (looked nicer than the originals) that had a nice sporty crackle to them.Originally Posted by scumdog
