How many Harley Riders are here?

    Hi Everyone,

I've just purchased a 95 HD Dyna Wideglide and was wondering how many other Harley owners are here?

    Cheers O

Not an owner, but I would be if the finances allowed it.

I'm often seen scraping the underside of various HD's around the place.

Not me, but if the opportunity arises (ie) I find I can actually
ride one and feel confident on it, I will. In the meantime I ride
    a sport bike

    You lucky thing

    EX Harley rider here.
    Had a 1980 FLT Tour glide and a 96 1200 Sporty.
The FLT was one of the best bikes I've ever owned, the sporty was not so great.Hope to have another sporty one day but a five speed this time. That way I won't have to make any more donations to Andrews.
The FLT, even tho' it was an AMF bike had all the bad bits replaced by Black diamond,S&S,ect, ect, long before I owned it.
Congats on your Dyna, must be nice owning a late model example of the most popular motorcycle make in the world.

I got a 03 heritage, great bike for having a holiday on if your got all day to go nowhere, heaps cheaper to run than my hondas, wasnt going to ride it much but put 12,000km on it in 10 months and its hardly been out of the lounge. My first HOG rally was an eye opener. Two types of people there. Bikers and Posers. I met one guy who flew from Wellytown to Chch, got a rental car and went to the rally. He even had his riding gear on. The other half are good guys like any rally. After a trip around the south Island I just gotta get back on a bike with balls.Cheers Toddy

You make more friends on a Harley. And get to spend lots and lots on goodies and clothes and trinkets. You can even get a Harley bed for your doggie. Or a climate controlled plastic bubble to store your Harley in.

    Oops did I say that?

Seriously, would be good to see more harley riders in here, to take the shit dealt out by sportsbikers. I doubt we'll get any more Beemer riders in here to soon to deal to that line of shit, but it'd be good for a strong contingent of the erm.... more heartily mocked bikers, to be present, to provide a different view and open the eyes of the rabid sports bikers. Though i see you have a ZX7R too Omega....

Some are a bit sensitive or summit, personaly what a person riides does not worry me but because of bites in the past the temptation for a gets to much, this of course should not be mixed up with but is all for a good
