05 Gixxer Thou - Official pics

That pipe LOOKS SHIT - looks like it should be on a crusier. With the focus on stealth pipes - this thing looks ridiculous.

Engine capacity is up from 988cc to 999cc, its wheelbase is .5mm shorter and it weighs 2kg less than the current model. At 166kg it's lighter than most 600s

Integrated indicators clean the front end up. I am surprised they haven't gone under seat given that all the others are heading that way. Be interesting to see what the other colours are - as Suzuki are not known for putting nice colours on their bikes - and I hate the blue/white colours.

Like many things you need to see it in real life, i think a lot of bikes dont look as good in photos, esp those side on photos.

    That pipe sure is different.

    Anyone know the power change?

The designers at Suzuki must have panicked at the thought of creating a half-pie decent looking bike (explanation for THAT exhaust)

    I don't get it :spudwhat:

What are you all complaining about?

As if anyone who buys one of these bikes is going to keep the exhaust anyway.

The manufacturers know their exhausts are going to be biffed within 1000kms anyway so what's the point in spending a lot of budget on the muffler when you could spend it elsewhere...

    like on those integrated mirror/indicators.

What do you reckon one of those would cost to replace if you accidentally dropped the bike and broke the lens.

I bet its a complete unit replacement only.

    As for the zorst

The rest of the bike looks pretty damn fine.
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.
