I was going to say "supercharge it". TTS in the UK do supercharging using Rotrex superchargers, and a young guy in the US has just fitted a Rotrex to his VFR800. He has yet to complete dialing in the fuel injection (using a Wide Band Commander and Power Commander), but it's quite rideable: a nice linear surge of power, rather than a big hit like you'd get from a turbo.

    Hi

Have you considered you could trade up to an exotic/rare bike like a 0W02 or a RC30 etc etc??
At least then start with something good and not mass produced common rice..
You are within your rights to just do what you want and buy what you want - asking others opinions is what probably got you the green boredom the first place.

    Regards
    BB

I don't know why Mr Fruit went for his kiwi-coloured ZX10R. However ... exotic / rare bike usually means expensive to buy, expensive to maintain, hard to find spares for, hard to find performance bits for, and lastly ... not as well-built, fast or competent as the 'common rice' you allude to.

I've recently gone from 100kg to 80kg so i decided the ten was grunty enough now i'm not a heavy coont.
I am still doing ohlins in it but the power will be staying as is.
The money has been spent on a 2005 wr450.
Its been a few years since i've owned a dirt bike, recon it will be a blast, hopefully i can hang onto the thing!
