    Dear The One

please be more careful when u ride out there cos me and my baby brother don't want to end up dead when you hit our mummys car.
My daddy sometimes takes my out riding with him but I don't like him going fast with me
Please save your fast riding for quiet country roads.
My daddy said if you want to some time you could ride with him on his favorite road. He rides VERY VERY fast -he scares me sometimes
His road is called Pukekohe park Raceway.
Please Mr One be careful from now on

Just thinking of starting a club, would anyone be interested.

Will be called "Illegal Riders" to get membership you have to overtake a patrol car at over 200Kph. That will be free entry for the rider.

    Just an Idea

    Cheers.

    Jeepers.

I've so far ignored this thread, primarily because I've been busy and the title looked boring.

    Pity.

I'll look forward to hearing about how TO goes on his first track day...

Oh yeah, I've done that heaps of times, just never told anyone about it.
So I'll be the second member of this nefarious club, which would make me the vice-captain of vice, yes?
    ... and that's what I think.

    Stop trolling, you silly twat.

Or I'll use sarcasm, dramatic irony, metaphor, bathos, puns, parody, litotes, satire and an eight-hundred-yard-long hedgehog called Spiny Norman.

How about The One puts his money where his mouth is and actually turns up at the Wairarapa Speed Trials?
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

So you're prone to exaggeration too, huh? Spiny Norman was 12 feet from nose to tail and only sometimes 8 hundred yards long.
Anyway, I wasn't trolling, only exaggerating; I have overtaken a cop, but I was only doing about 120, so I'm more than halfway to being eligible for the 200+ gang.
    ... and that's what I think.

Sorry T/O. 200kph is for pooftas, to join *my* club you have to go over 220 on one wheel.

Front or back, I'm not fussed.

    Great Thread

Kept me amused for a whole lunch hour
Started off with a hiss and a roar
kinda faded a bit in the middle
then came on again at the end

I keep thinking of that "sunday" programme a few weeks ago where that billock up north used a Truimph travelling at the speed of sound to turn a car into pulp and killed a teenage girl. Her boyfriend was in the passenger seat and her parents were in the car following.

    Great fun

hmmm all those years ago i remember a fellow workmate trying to outrun the law back when the MOT had pursuit vehicles he was on a 650 katana i think it was.... the cop was in a worked falcon with a v8 blah de blah and guess what happen to him at 150 kms/h yep you guessed it he was forced off the road so i guess you lucky that the police aint allowed to go that fast and knock you off your bike.
Guys the police, Ambo`s and paid Fire fighters see death and carnage all the time,so do us volunteers and it never gets easier, to say we cope is just what I say ....We cope ...Barely, with munters out there killin themselves all the time, and others.
Ive been attending fatals for the past 5 years in that time i have been involved with about 12 fatals mostly cars vs trucks or cars vs cars ,and to see what happens to a person when they crash at 100 km/h I`d hate to see you at 250 km/h + the speed of anything you hit gets added to the total.
B4 anyone says it ...yes ive done some hairbrained things but never out of my riding ability and the one time i did go over 200 was at a race track , call me a nanny if ya like.
But spare a thought for the proffessionals right thru to the nurse`s and doctors and the unpaid volunteer proffesionals ,Regardless of what we think people do that is stupid ...Remember
We Will Still be there for you all at your time of need
    Cheers and safe riding.

It's an easy typo for "954", innit. Off top of head, and after Googling it myself, I'm sure there never was a 924 blade.

The likely case that he doesn't actually *have* one means that he won't be mentally cross-checking his profile against the fairing decals he looks at every morning, so he won't have figgered it out yet.

And, if he goes back and fixes it now, it makes his trollery a bit, well, obvious...

Does the 929 (I think that's what he said it was?) or even the 954 actually have the number on the fairings? I think that wasn't the case at first (like with the 919s or whatever); they just said CBRRRRR or summat. I dunno.
And no, he hasn't altered it. I had to check, dammit!
    ... and that's what I think.

HONDA CBR924RR, rok prod. 2001/2002, przebieg 1,8 tys., cena 28800, stan bardzo dobry, kupiony w polskim salonie, pierwsza rejestracja wrzesień 2002, prawie nowy!, brak kierunku i naklejki. Paweł tel. 0-602 804977, 0-41 3614932
That's Polish. The seller (Pavel) wants to sell his 2001/02 model year Honda, first registered in 2002, that has travelled 28,800km. He says it's in good nick, the brakes having recently been reshod. Give him a bell at the attached numbers to discuss price and delivery options.

I'm guessing that you haven't figured out that there is a fairly excellent sport involved in NOT ignoring them.
