Yep if you have short legs it is that much harder to find a bike that you can reach the ground on.
Hell I am 4 foot 12inches tall..... so I find it much harder than you ever will.
Just as well I love cruiser bikes.

Are you serious? No wonder you ride cruisers. Thats not an insult thats like, you poor bugger you cant ride sport bikes. I bet you would if you could.

Yes it is my mummys fault shes responsible for the short legs

Yep deadly serious about my height..... and I didnt eat all my greens as a kid
But I did smoke at a young age.... and stopped early so maybe thats why aye...

Nope I saw the movie "Easy Rider" years ago and that was it for me....
    Just love cruisers.

Only sportbike that I could reach the ground on was Indy's CBR250cc bike before he raised it back up... I could reach the handgrips comfy as well..
But in all honestly, I love the cruisers....

I was joking about you riding a cruiser.... cos you know if you like them or not.

I have sat on many sportbikes..... and have either one leg dangling away or both legs.... sat on McJim's ducati yesterday...... legs swinging in the breeze.

    Hit the quote button.......

just make sure that you dont accidently back space off the words etc.

You need this at the beginning [ QUOTE=kb name] and after the quote you need [/QUOTE ]

please note that I have put a space in after the first [ and inbetween the kb and name and then before the last] so that you can see what is required.

In that case you won't be doing too much riding and you'll need a second job in order to pay for the repairs .......

But you may be lucky and find another bike that you can fit.... but in this situation you just may have to get it lowered... until you get used to it... and then raise it back up a little at a time..
This is very good advice! Maybe look at lowering it for a few months until you're confident on it and have learnt to ride it and judge lean angles etc, then pop it back up to get you ready for a bigger bike. Remember too, bigger bikes are often heavier and harder to keep upright on tippy toes (believe me!). The good thing about a lot of the sports bikes though is that some are quite light, massive difference in weight between my hornet and my hubby's GSXR 750! I'm a shortarse and had to lower mine cause it was tippy toes all the way.

I think Im going to be quite limited to what I can move up to because of this problem unless I lower the new bike as well. I did sit on a VFR750 the other day and it was actually lower than my 250 Hornet so who knows. How do you like your Hornet and has it solved the problem for you? Can you remember how much it cost you to lower it?
