Pull one apart and use the other as a map to put it back together again... Then do the same with the other...
    Obvious things;

    spark plug/s
    battery
    cables
    cylinders
    crank

    those sorta things...
They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the evening,
    we will remember them

I have spent the day going backwards all the way to the alternator, and pulser coil, any one know how to test the alternator?, the most can get out of it is 5v, when cranking hard out from a car battery, is this right?

I got a wiring diagram from www.threewheelerworld.com and went through all of the wiring, it seems ok.

one bike will be for parts, one for fixing up, whats the chances of two cdi's, reg/rect, and coils all being duds?

I tried 3x coil/lead combies, even one off my PW50, which I know works, 2x cdis, 2x reg/rects, and am just about to swap out an altinator, and try that

    Woohoo

    I got one going

I should change the name of the thread to "Honda 3 wheeled sideways death machine"

    I've never ridden a 250 3 wheeler before, man what a hoot.

reverse works too I will never need to push the trailer again

    all systems go

just waiting for the seat to come back from the upholsterers, everything works, I put the baldest tyres on the back so it would be a bit easier on the lawn, almost time to go and have some adventures

Great fun to be had on these, still have a 200cc version sitting in the garage. Make sure you keep your feet on the pegs while it's moving, the back wheels love climbing over your foot/ leg if you put it down.
